Affinis Labs is organizing a special hackathon with Facebook where we will be inviting students, entrepreneurs, story-tellers, teachers, advocates and any/all passionate Filipinos to create online tools and platforms that teach digital literacy & promote respectful online engagement.
We're calling it the Digital Halo-Halo Hackathon as a tribute to the tasty dessert that mixes together many distinct elements to create a flavorful combination that reflects the diversity of the vibrant Filipino culture. The fun will happen in Manila from Nov 24-26, 2016.

We have some funding for travel/lodging for a few coming from outside Manila, so apply early! If you have a pre-determined team of up to 4, apply individually and let us know your team name. If you don't have a group, apply as an individual and we will assign you to a team.
On November 24, we will host a free workshop (with free dinner!) with Facebook and AJ+ on how to increase your digital literacy with best social media and storytelling practices.
